Cumulative Effects Assessment Scoping Guide
for the Yukon Territory
Indian and Northern Affairs Canada
ESSA was engaged by Indian and Northern Affairs
Canada to develop a technical guidance document for defining the
scope of project-specific cumulative impact assessments. Recent
literature on cumulative effects assessment (CEA) approaches and
methodologies, as well as current CEA and environmental assessment
practices in the Yukon were reviewed. The project delivered a conceptual
foundation for scoping cumulative effects analyses and specific
guidance with respect to issues commonly faced in the Yukon.
