Accessing the Latin American Market for North
American Environmental Goods and Services
Commission for Environmental Cooperation (NAFTA)
This tri-national project, funded by the North
American Commission for Environmental Cooperation, involved the
GLOBE Foundation of Canada, SAIC de Mexico, and Consultants Group/Latin
America. ESSA was engaged to lead the project, which involved market
research on both the supply and demand sides, as well as the development
and delivery of a mechanism for forging partnerships to facilitate
Latin American market access. To meet project objectives, ESSA researched
and wrote a comprehensive guide to accessing the Latin American
environmental market, selected appropriate firms for deal-making
and partnerships, and planned and executed a program of sessions
and meetings at the GLOBE 96 environment industry trade fair in
Vancouver.
